At Animech we care about your privacy. This page describes how we handle the personal data you give us through our website, including the contact form and demo bookings.

1. Data controller

2. What data we collect

In the contact form we ask for your name, work email, company and message. When you book a demo we ask for your name, email, company and, optionally, your phone number and a message, as well as the time you choose.

3. Why we process the data and on what legal basis

We use the data to reply to your enquiry, book and hold demos and follow up our contact with you. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering enquiries and conducting a business dialogue (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). When you book a demo, the processing may also be necessary to take steps at your request before a possible contract is entered into (Article 6(1)(b)).

4. How long we keep the data

We keep contact enquiries and demo bookings for up to 24 months after our last contact with you. After that the data is deleted or anonymised. If we enter into a contract, the data needed for the contract and for accounting is kept for as long as the law requires.

5. Who receives the data

The data is handled by us and by the suppliers that help us run the website and our sales, such as web hosting, CRM and email providers. They are data processors and may only process the data on our instructions. We do not sell your data. If a supplier processes data outside the EU/EEA, this is done with appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.

6. Your rights

You have the right to request access to, rectification or erasure of your data, to request restriction of processing, to object to processing and to receive your data in a machine-readable format. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY), imy.se, or with the supervisory authority in your own country.
