The challenge
Fjällräven wanted its customers to customise, visualise and order their own Kånken. They also had a bold idea: enough options that every person in the world could carry a unique backpack.
The solution
We built the configurator on our own WebGL-based Aniconfigurator. Customers combine straps, pockets and colours and see the result in 3D in real time, rotating the model to view the backpack from every angle. The visual quality is photorealistic and optimised for the web.
The outcome
The result pushes what 3D on the web can look like, and shows fashion brands that configurable products can be sold online. The configurator blends into the Fjällräven website, and its intuitive interface lets anyone, regardless of technical experience, experiment freely.
