Willab Garden came to us looking for an interactive online tool to enable customers to design, visualize, price and order their dream greenhouse/conservatory. The aim was to shorten the sales cycle, optimize conversion rates and minimize order errors through an appealing and user-friendly experience.
With seamless access to information, customers could concentrate fully on the dimensions and style of a bespoke Willab Garden product. The second requirement was seamless integration with the company’s existing back-end business system for managing orders, prices, stock, content and data.
Animech used its proprietary WebGL-based Aniconfigurator platform to customize the Willab Garden 3D Configurator for greenhouses and conservatories. This tool can be accessed directly on the Willab Gardens website from a smartphone or computer, with no installation required. The customer selects a standard type of Willab Garden Greenhouse or conservatory/extension, which is immediately displayed in the main 3D window and can then be completed with a range of options and accessories. Throughout the configuration process, the virtual structure can be rotated in every plane, for a clear view from all angles.
Blending in smoothly as a superior feature on each of the Willab Garden national websites, the 3D Configurator interface is streamlined and intuitive for use by customers with minimal computer skills, allowing them to experiment freely in visualizing their dream design. For Willab Garden, the result is an enviable state-of-the-art tool that provides value-added customer service, reduced error in specifying customized products, and brand reputation building. Behind the scenes, Animech’s solution integrates seamlessly with the client’s underlying website management and business systems to drive sales.
